Our responsibility to provide quality education, better learning environment, says DC Central

KaracHI: Nazimabad Town organised fun gala at Eye Own Park, Chief Guest Deputy Commissioner Central District Taha Saleem distribution of free curriculum among school children. Recitation of naat and speech contest were feature of event.

Nazimabad Town distributed curriculum and bags to 2,500 students of schools run by Town, trophies and prizes were given by Deputy Commissioner.  Taha Salim said that under Town it is our responsibility to provide quality education as well as better educational environment to children of Town managed schools. There is dire need to introduce modern science in government schools. He appreciated efforts made by Town. Chairman Town Syed Muhammad Muzaffar said that main purpose of event was to meet parents. Providing environment is our top priority, in this regard we have local NGOs cooperating with us in this regard. Upgrading educational standards of schools with funds of CLICK and Town and, providing new furniture and necessary facilities in schools is made possible.

Vice Chairman Nauman Siddiqui, concerned UC Chairman, Assistant Commissioner Nazimabad Hashim Masood, Director Education Khadija, Director Advertisement Asif Baig, Director Anti-Encroachment Rashid Kamal, Director Parks Asif Hussain, Dr. Information Faheem Mustafa, Director Council Obaid Alam, Director Libraries Ayaz Tariq, focal person Kulq Rashid and Municipal officials were also present.
