Open-hearted Karachiites amid Ramadan and mounting inflation

In the present time, the economy of our country is in doldrums due to which the lives of the masses are at sheer jeopardy. A common man is passing through a bundle of difficulties whether it is about a better employment, severe gas crisis, loadshedding, delay in salaries, downsizing in organizations, shutdown of production plants in many companies, exaggerating prices of daily eatables and much more.

Unfortunately this disastrous situation across the country in the month of Ramadan is quite appalling as a lay man is unable to earn a proper bread and butter for his family’s livelihood. It is for sure a collective responsibility of all Pakistanis to help the countrymen and the suffering humanity in whatever capacity anyone could add his portion to mitigate the level of anxiety and frustration in the society.

It is natural that specifically in the month of Ramadan, people open-heartedly donate and do charity without any discrimination with sincere intentions to aid the grief-stricken ones.

Being a Karachiite, I would say this without any doubt that people of Karachi play a vital role in making all possible arrangements for the dejected and isolated people and families who are living in extremely devastated conditions.

In Ramadan, the streets of Karachi would witness hundreds of people who are found busy in distributing free iftar for all and same goes during the time of Sehr. Also, many social organizations, university students and the people belonging to elite class play their part in distribution rations to the needy throughout the month.

This unity is worth to be praised. I feel this very important that under the current prevailing economic conditions and the political uncertainty, being an individual everyone should pray and put all-out efforts in making our country prosper and its people to progress.
