LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said that only Supreme Court (SC) Chief Justice could save life of party leader Murad Saeed.

Imran Khan has raised concerns over threats to party leader Murad Saeed’s life, urging Chief Justice of Pakistan to ‘protect his life’ as there are ‘agencies out to kill him’. “Honourable Chief Justice, former Federal Minister and MNA Murad Saeed has written this letter to you about his life being under serious threat, stated Imran Khan.

Only Honourable Chief Justice of Supreme Court can ensure his safety. Just like Arshad Sharif there are agencies out to kill him. I urge you to do whatever is within your means to protect his life,” he said. Taking to twitter, Imran asked CJP to “Do whatever it takes” to protect life of Saeed. He shared letter written by Saeed to top judge. “Honourable Chief Justice, former minister, and MNA Murad Saeed has written this letter to you saying that there are serious threats to his life. His safety can be ensured only by Chief Justice of Supreme Court,” maintained Imran Khan.

Imran Khan said that ˜terror tactics are only increasing sympathy for PTI. Imran Khan said that he strongly condemns police raid on residence of PTI President Chaudhary Pervez Elahi.
