One lakh youth will be given IT course training, ration to 0.2m people: Gov Tessori

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori said that those who tore banners that were put up for awareness of deserving people from all over city last night should listen to us. We are not afraid of them. We wanted to provide training to 50 thousand people in IT courses, will enroll 100,000 youths in IT courses, similarly, also increasing scope of ration bags among deserving people plus 200,000 white-collar families. Ration bags will be distributed this month. Last night, banners put up for awareness of deserving people have been torn down, which is sad thing.
Addressing press conference on arrival of 20 thousand ration bags under Unity Foods at Governor House he said that people who left poor and deserving people helpless have not done anything for them. Now if anyone wants to do good work with support of philanthropists is welcomed. Every effort is being made to reduce difficulties of poor and deserving people. On day of Eid-ul-Adha, you should come to Governor House and get ration bag given under powerful Pakistan for family of 5 people. One month’s ration is being given, all banners have been taken down from 2 pm to 5 am last night.
People working selflessly including Maulana Bashir Farooqui, Zafar Abbas, Farrukh Amin, directors of Unity Foods and other philanthropists of this city are praiseworthy.
Meanwhile, Kamran Tessori congratulating Friends Panel for success in elections of Association of Camera Journalists expressed wishes for elected President senior cameraman Altaf Hussain, Vice President Imtiaz Ali, Secretary Muhammad Rehan and others.
Governor congratulated governing body members Asif Iqbal, Haroonzad, Imran Ali Shah, Moinuddin, Salman Mustafa, Sohail Barfat and Syed Daniyal.
Moreover, CEO of Unity Foods Limited Farrukh Amin acknowledging urgency of situation stated, “To see Taqatwar Pakistan, where hunger is vanquished and every child’s future is filled with promise. At Unity Foods, we recognise that food insecurity and malnutrition are not just statistics, but heart-wrenching human tragedies that demand our immediate attention.” Today we are distributing 20,000 ration packs of 27 kg that are sufficient to cater to family of five for month.
