Komal Meer got noticed for first time when she participated in Miss Veet Pakistan. She did not win but she did great job getting introduced to industry.

Starlet has since only grown and now she has many big dramas in her filmography. She has done dramas like Badshah Begum and Rah e Junoon but drama that put her on map first was Qalandar. She played damsel Dur e Adan who was loved by audience for her beauty and innocence.

Komal gave an interview, where she talked about how Qalandar made her famous among masses. She shared that this drama made her think of quitting industry as well. She revealed shoot for Qalandar was very difficult.

She said that at one point co-star had to slap her and she slapped her in real so scene looks okay. Komal also had to eat real leftover food from cast and crew on set as they wanted to show Dur e Adan that way and they wanted it to look authentic.

That is when she cried afterwards and thought of leaving industry but things worked out in end and drama went on to become big hit.
