OGDCL tops first round of PARCO T20 cricket tournament

Karachi, February 02, 2023: While displaying quality cricket and great sportsmanship, the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited’s (OGDCL) cricket team has come out on top in the first round of the 7th PARCO T20 cricket tournament being played at the Moin Khan Academy in Karachi.

The cricket event features Pakistan's robust petroleum industry, with 12 leading companies participating in the tournament. During the first round, a fantastic display of true sportsman spirit by all teams was witnessed. The tournament is highly competitive, but the OGDCL team's performance is outstanding so far, as the team has played with great determination. The team played five matches in the first round and remained unbeaten.

The team's success in the first round bodes well for their future in the tournament and is a source of pride for the company and its employees. This is a significant achievement for the OGDCL team and a testament to their hard work and dedication to the game. "Just play. Have fun. Enjoy the game." Little did we know that the quote would be ingrained in the OGDCL cricket team. Each match enthralled the audience and brought undivided attention to this bunch of talented players and a lot of applause.
