ISLAMABAD: National Security Committee (NSC) meeting is likely to be convened this week in wake of growing terrorist acts in country. According to sources Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif decided to convene NSC meeting in view of rising terrorist incidents in country. Senior civil and military authorities will participate in meeting.

Meeting is likely to be convened in this week. Situation on implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) will be reviewed. Causes behind escalating terrorism wave in KP and Balochistan will also come under discussion. Sources further said performance and problems facing institutions working to deal with terrorism will also be reviewed. Current situation of talks with proscribed Tehreek-e-Talban Pakistan and implementation of past agreements will also be discussed in meeting.
