ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan came down hard on cabal of crooks who he said were busy in waiving their corruption amounting to billions of rupees and spending national wealth lavishly on foreign trips amid floods catastrophe that wreaked havoc across country.

PTI Chairman said that it was serious and criminal joke to country and its people to give NRO-2 to criminals and thieves who ruthlessly and mercilessly plundered national kitty. Imran Khan made these remarks while presiding over a meeting of PTI senators here.  During meeting, they voiced grave concern over unabated heinous violations of human rights in country, undue curbs and restrictions on media and political victimiation against political opponents, especially raid on the residence of Senator Saifullah Khan Niazi.

Participants also held detailed discussion on country's overall political situation and economy meltdown, besides expressing serious concern over planned NRO-2 to give relief to thieves and most corrupt characters of country by NAB laws tweak.

During meeting, they discussed future strategy of PTI parliamentary party in upper house and reviewed luxury expenses of crime minister and ministers on their foreign trips when country was reeling under worst floods of history of country, wreaking havoc in country. Moreover, participations also held detailed deliberation on important issues regarding preparations for decisive and final phase of real freedom movement. During meeting, they expressed deep concern over failure of Sindh government to help ease woes of flood-stricken masses of province.

PTI senators vowed that they would take up issues of back-breaking inflation, crippling economy, political victimisations of political workers and leaders along with media shutdowns in Upper House with full force. Imran Khan said that it was really shameful to let thieves waived off their whooping Rs 1100 billion corruption, which was their sole motive to seize power to through conspiracy to avoid punishment.

However, he made it clear that neither he nor nation was willing to accept these criminals, who brought well-flourishing and booming economy to its knee despite warnings within few months. Imran Khan warned that state of uncertainty was poisonous for economy and elections was solve remedy. PTI Chairman said that a fast sliding economy and escalating political instability warranted immediate course correction to steer country out of prevailing quagmire of problems. He said that look at non-seriousness of cabal of crooks when millions of countrymen were living in flood waters, crime minister and his Cabinet members were wasting nation's money on luxury foreign visits.
