LONDON: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori said that he doesn’t see any place in Pakistani politics for PTI Chairman Imran Khan after orchestrating 9 May violent attacks on Pakistan Army installations.

Speaking to media here, Tessori said that events of May 9 involving Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf attacks on Jinnah House and other military areas had jolted Pakistan.

“Elements involved in May 0 attacks are left behind and nation has come on one page.”

He advised those still part of PTI to, “Think of Pakistan first and then leader. Nation comes first, no harm in following any leader but not at cost of Pakistan.”

Tessori accentuated that he had opportunity of working closely with former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and found he was very hard-working, well-meaning and always listened to grievances and tried to resolve problems.  “Imran Khan only made others listen to him and never tried to listen to others”, Tessori noted. Tessori apprised that he had no plans of meeting Nawaz Sharif as nothing is planned but he said he will be calling Shehbaz Sharif, who is also in London these days.

Tessori said there is no chance of him meeting Muttahida Qaumi Movement founder Altaf Hussain.

Tessori highlighted that his total focus was on providing relief to poor people, giving free education and giving hope and opportunities to common people.

Governor Sindh Tessori said that we are determined to fix country’s economic conditions in order to provide comfort to masses who are braving inflation and poor governance beside they are facing hardships to acquire fundamental rights, liberty and daily life essentials.
