Like most of millennials not fond of new age of rap and hip-hop, legendary singer Sajjad Ali also woke up yearning for good old days of music. New Bollywood era is all about remixing old classics and certain new song reminded Tum Naraz Ho singer of song he released 26 years ago. A sudden treat to his fans, Ali took to his Twitter and threw it back to 1996 when he first released romantic ballad Ab Ke Hum Bichare.

“I was listening to new movie’s song on Youtube and it reminded me of my own song that I released 26 years ago,” he began video and started singing song. Although Ali didn’t take any names, users tagged Indian musician and composer Vishal Dadlani and called him out for stealing songs and not giving credit where it was due. Several users retweeted Ali’s video and thanked him for bringing classic Mehdi Hasan ghazal back to life. However, user felt that his 26-year-old song was “As bad” as new one and that singers should leave classic ghazals alone altogether.
