Muharram is the first month of Islamic calendar which has a lot of religious significance.

Muslims across the world observe Muharram with sheer respect. It is the month when Muslims practice empathy and express their sorrow and extreme grief for lives that were lost in the battle of Karbala. The Muslims deeply grieve the month because of the Shahdah of dearest grandson of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him ), Hazrat Imam Hussain (Razzi Allah Ta’Aala Unho).  The Battle of Karbala took place in the month of Muharram, the dreadful battle resulted in Hussain Ibn-e-Ali’s sorrowful martyrdom. Many other family members and companions of Hazrat Imam Hussain were also martyred. Well, in Muharram, Muslims don’t take part in celebrations and don’t arrange parties. Unfortunately, many Pakistani celebrities have been posting pictures from parties, get to-gethers and vacation. Actress Noor Bukhari always speaks on the actors who don’t respect Muharram. These days, we spotted many actors who are vacationing and attending parties, Fatima Effendi, Nida Yasir, Humayun Saeed, Yumna Zaidi, Sonya Hussyn, Sarwat Gillani and many others posted pictures from parties, vacation and get togethers. Noor Bukhari once again called out the celebrities who have been enjoying vacation and parties in this month.

She wrote, “Wah Umati. It’s so sad to see someenjoying vacation and parting and some mourning for imam Hussain a.s shows who is on yazeedi lashkar and who is in hussaini. Simple !”
