Non-bailable arrest warrants issued against Shahbaz Gill

ISLAMABAD: Local court of Islamabad issued non-bailable arrest warrants of PTI’s leader Shahbaz Gill in case pertaining inciting people against institutions. Additional Session Judge Tahir Abbas Sapra heard case against Shahbaz Gill.

During course of proceeding, court inquired about attendance of accused at which lawyer said that appearance of Shahbaz Gill was not possible so far as his wife went through surgery. Lawyer also filed request seeking one-time exemption from appearance to accused. Court issued non-bailable arrest warrants against Shahbaz Gill. Court said that arrest warrants could be cancelled if accused appear before court or he was authorised to challenge verdict. Further hearing of case was then adjourned till June 26.
