ISLAMABAD: Former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi expressed reservations over Finance Minister Ishaq Dar’s statement regarding atomic assets.

PM Shehbaz Sharif should take nation into confidence, he said. No one has right to discuss over missile range. Senator Raza Rabbani has also raised questions on Ishaq Dar statement. Taking to media he said incumbent Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto is building his image in foreign visits. He should have issued statement over such sensitive issue.

Foreign Office said that not any country has said anything about our atomic programme, Shah questioned, then why have Ishaq Dar talked about atomic programme?

Qureshi said our atomic program is peaceful and it is our defence. This programme is particular to South Asia for balance of power in this region. Former Foreign Minister also demanded joint Parliament session on issue of pressure on atomic programme. Prime Minister should give policy statement on this issue in joint session because it is also demand of government members.

He said they are talking about banning PTI, “We want to settle issues but they want to make things worse.” Zaman Park operation has violated prestige of dupatta and walls, said Qureshi.

They violated orders of Lahore High Court. Torture on Shibli Faraz and Amjad Niazi shows government intentions. Shah Mehmood said Indian Prime Minister is addressing Pakistan people. That is where this government brought situation and no one is realising.
