No need to negotiate with IK, says Fazl

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Democratic Movement Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman bashed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan saying that latter was inept for negotiations. Addressing press conference here, Fazlur Rehman said, “We always respected judiciary.” Speaking about elections, Fazlur Rehman said, ‘We believe that elections should be held on time. “

He vowed that PDM was standing by Constitution and state. Speaking about relation between census and elections, Maulana Fazl said, “Elections in two provinces will happen in old census.” Fazl ur Rehman alleged that Lt Gen (retd) Faiz Hameed and former Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar were still lobbying for Imran Khan, urging institution to take notice of matter. Addressing press conference he claimed that ideological divisions were being witnessed within institutions for first time in history, adding that such things happen when ˜some outsiderswere calling shots.

He regretted that country situation has worsened due to policies of last three-year, alleging that whichever country starts helping, Imran Khan becomes an obstacle in its way. He said that census is also underway in country and they believe elections should be held after census.
