ISLAMABAD: Minister for Religious matters Senator Talha Mahmood denied news items regarding charging extra money to pilgrims for Aab-e-Zamzam. Talha Mahmood said in statement issued by spokesperson of Ministry of Religious Affairs, I am supervising Hajj arrangements myself.

Pilgrims will not be charged more than package. Money for Aab-e-Zamzam is also included in Hajj Package. We will not charge extra money.

There is no authenticity in news regarding collection of additional charges for Aab-e-Zamzam.

He added, I will not tolerate any negligence in hajj managements.

Saudi government started bottling Zamzam with special packaging several years ago. Many years ago, pilgrims used to fill Zamzam cans themselves, which had complaints of leakage.
