ISLAMABAD: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said there is no possibility to hold elections before October. Speaking to media outside Parliament, Khawaja Asif said that election will be held in October after possible return of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz supremo Nawaz Sharif. He said that election will never be held in absence of Nawaz Sharif. Khawaja Asif said that it’s not only end but beginning of tension, adding, “If they held elections now then election will be conducted in October too, which will spark more tension.”
He said that ruling government is talking about Constitution, it’s not about Imran Khan’s popularity or fear. “Popularity never remains lasts,” he said.
