KARACHI: Sindh caretaker Chief Minister Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqar categorically announced that government will not place ban or bar on approvals of layout plans of residential and commercial buildings.

In statement issued here from CM House, caretaker Chief Minister said that there was no ban on approval of plans for construction of commercial and residential buildings. However, violation of building laws, rules and regulations by Sindh Building Control Authority or builder(s) would not be tolerated, he said categorically.

Talking about regularisation of illegally constructed buildings, caretaker CM said that no such proposal was under consideration at all. Caretaker Chief Minister urged SBCA to encourage legal construction and simplify procedure.
