NNG Sports Committee role for promotion of sports lauded

KARACHI: Sindh High Court Solicitor Afsheen has lauded the role of Asghar Ali Shah Foundation and NNG Sports Committee in promotion of cricket and said that the way Mrs Asma Shah, Chairperson of the NNG Sports Committee, is working all-out efforts for promotion from the platform of NNG and also as Chairperson of Asghar Ali Shah Sports Foundation is exemplary.

Speaking as chief guest at concluding ceremony of two-match series between NNG Club A O Clinic teams  held in connection with Defence Day at Asghar Ali Shah Ground, which the latter (A O Club) won here yesterday.

NNG Sports Committee Chairperson Dr Asma Ali Shah, who is the first female from Pakistan to become member of MMC Lords, also addressed the ceremony and pledged to continue her support for sports. Mrs Asma Sajjad, late MPA wife Sajjid Qureshi was also present on the occasion.

The following were given awards: Man of the match was given to Zaid bin Kashif while the Best bowler Prize went to Farzam Alam. Yousha Rafiq was named Best fielder.
