KARACHI: Faisal Moiz Khan President North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry (NKATI) rejected mini budget and huge increase in gas and electricity tariff. Calling it disastrous for economy and industry. He said that if government does not withdraw increase in taxes and increase in electricity and gas rates through mini budget, industries will be closed. As result, millions of workers will become unemployed while domestic exports will also be adversely affected.

In statement issued Faisal Moiz said that government earlier increased gas and electricity tariff enormously and at the same time, government also indicated that subsidy will be phased out which will increase production cost of industries.
