Nine persons including women arrested
ACE TEAM RAIDS ELAHI'S HOUSE, BREAKS MAIN GATE WITH HELP OF APC

LAHORE: Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) team along with police contingents raided former Punjab Chief Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf President Pervaiz Elahi's house here.
It was learnt that nine persons including woman were arrested by ACE during raid. However, names of arrestees were not disclosed yet. ACE team along with police contingents led by superintendent police Model Town raided Pervaiz Elahi's house in Lahore. Large number of senior lawyers were present at PTI President's house at time of raid. Later, police entered house after jumping from wall and main gate was broken with help of APC. Police officials faced resistance while attempting to enter house as people from inside residence pelted stones at them. Contingents also include personnel of anti-riot force and women officers.

Moonis Elahi said in Twitter message, "Punjab police is at our residence to arrest my father right now in case for which he got bail today. His bail hearing was covered by all media outlets. PM @ImranKhanPTI is absolutely right: Rule of Law has ended in Pakistan."
Surprisingly, raid was conducted after PTI president secured bail in corruption case earlier in day. Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi was booked over 'corruption' charges of worth Rs 120 million by Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment.
