New Year: COAS says Army will do everything for national security, development

Rawalpindi: Armed Forces of country have wished happy new year to proud and honourable people of Pakistan, as challenging yet momentous 2023 is over.

According to statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), year 2024 is of immense significance for Pakistan, both internally and externally.

Armed Forces reinforce patriotic spirit of serving motherland, land of immeasurable bounties and countless opportunities. “Undoubtedly, our great nation will rise, in line with dreams of our forefathers and aspirations of people of Pakistan. Surely bright future for coming generations awaits us, InshaAllah,” statement reads.

In line with directives of interim Prime Minister, Armed Forces stand with and pray for resilient people of Palestine and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and hope that New Year will bring relief in their sufferings from tyrannical regimes. “Pakistan Army as national army will leave no stone unturned to contribute to cause of national security and development. We take pride in our unwavering commitment to people of Pakistan. Armed Forces and people are one. No one can defeat spirit of Pakistan, ISPR quoted Chief of Army Staff Gen Asim Munir as saying on occasion.
