Country needs all parties’ alliance to ensure economic stability: Ahsan Iqbal

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal called upon all politicians, irrespective of party affiliation to work as team to come out of crises.
“Pakistan is passing through worst economic crisis so, it is not time to fight with each other but to work in collaboration to elevate country among world’s top economies”, he said at launching ceremony of British Council’s report here.
He urged all stakeholders including establishment, judiciary and politicians to put heads together to ensure sustainable socio-economic development of country.
He said Pakistan has huge proportion of young people who should be given best socio-politico-economic environment to ensure strong and stable Pakistan in next decade or so.
He said whatever government system state adopts, it must be ensured that there must be continuity of policies.
Similarly, he said government would impart Information Technology based skilled training besides providing an opportunity to another 100,000 young people to get technical and vocational training.
“In our previous tenure, we provided one million laptops that resulted in promotion of free-lancing culture among youth”, he added.
