KARACHI: NEPRA has scaled down power tariff in respect of K Electric by Rs 3.63 per unit. Reduction in tariff has been made under head of Fuel Adjustment Charge (FAC) in respect of July 2022.  Decrease in tariff will not applicable to life line consumers of K-Electric. Sources said NEPRA will issue detailed decision in this regard later. 

According to K-Electric dip in use of RLNG has led to reduction in cost of power. Demand of electricity also fell in month of July as compared to June. Load shedding also declined by 43 percent in month of JULY as compared to June.
