In Lahore, Shehbaz Sharif, the former prime minister and President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), held a meeting with his elder brother, Nawaz Sharif, to deliberate on the overall political landscape and legal matters in the country.

In addition to political and legal issues, the discussions encompassed topics such as the allocation of party tickets, the election narrative, and the resolution of concerns raised by the Pakistan People's Party and other coalition partners, as per sources.

This meeting was attended by PML-N's Chief Organizer, Maryam Nawaz, and Salman Shehbaz.

Nawaz Sharif, a former three-time prime minister, returned to Pakistan on October 1 after concluding his period of self-imposed exile and has since become more active following relief granted by the Islamabad High Court (IHC).

On October 31, the former prime minister chaired a high-level PML-N meeting at Jati Umra. This gathering, held at the PML-N's Raiwind residence, was attended by Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Hamza Shehbaz, Ishaq Dar, and others, according to party sources.

The meeting discussed the resumption of the PML-N's political activities, launching the party's election campaign, and consulting on the election manifesto, sources added. Furthermore, the PML-N meeting considered establishing contact with other political parties in the country.
