Nawaz Sharif’s homecoming: PML-N mandates return of all party members from abroad

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz instructed all its members including Senators, former MNAs and MPAs and ticket holders to return back to Pakistan within three days, in view of extensive preparations currently underway for homecoming of party supremo, Nawaz Sharif, next month.

Instructions, mandating return of all party members from abroad were communicated by Rana Sanaullah, President of PML-N Punjab chapter, according to statement issued here.

Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to return to Pakistan on October 21 to spearhead party’s election campaign for next general elections slated for final week of January 2024.

Interacting with media in London, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif reiterated that there had been no change in planned date for Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan.

He said party supremo would be given an historic welcome, ?re-confirming that he would touch down in Lahore on October 21Shehbaz Sharif requested his party members and office-bearers to pursue their ?plans for ?travelling abroad after October 21 in order to offer their undivided attention to preparations being made to welcome “Party Quaid” back to Pakistan.

Before Nawaz Sharif’s return, PML-N has decided to hold seven processions in Lahore to mobilise public in welcoming Nawaz back to Pakistan.

These gatherings will be addressed by both Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz.     Sanaullah directed that after completing responsibilities assigned in organisational meeting on September 18, all party members and office-bearers must submit reports to Punjab President and party office.
