Nawaz Sharif to be back in Pakistan on Oct 21, confirms Shehbaz

LONDON: In a significant announcement, former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has officially confirmed that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif is set to make his highly anticipated return to Pakistan on October 21st.

As per the details shared by Shehbaz Sharif, Nawaz Sharif's arrival will be marked by a grand and enthusiastic welcome by the party and its supporters. Earlier, during a press interaction in London, former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif revealed the party's strategic decision regarding Nawaz Sharif's return to Pakistan. He stated, "We have consulted extensively with the senior leadership of the party, and it has been decided that Nawaz Sharif will return to Pakistan in October to lead our election campaign."

Furthermore, the President of PML-N emphasized that his brother, Nawaz Sharif, is fully committed to returning to Pakistan and facing any legal proceedings. He stressed, "There is unanimous consensus within the party on this matter." However, specific details regarding the exact date of Nawaz Sharif's return were not disclosed. In response to questions about the Panama Papers controversy, Shehbaz Sharif reiterated the party's stance, asserting that Nawaz Sharif's name was unfairly implicated in the investigation due to a conspiracy. He pointed out that despite other individuals being named in the Panama Papers, no substantial action had been taken against them. Notably,
