Nawaz Sharif seeks relief from accountability court under NAB ordinance-2022

LAHORE: PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif has sought relief from Accountability Court (AC) under NAB ordinance-2022.
It is learnt that counsel for Nawaz Sharif has filed another petition against court decision of declaring him proclaimed offender in plot allotment at Ashiana Housing Society case.
He has taken plea in petition that amount involved in charges being faced by Nawaz Sharif is Rs 130 million which don’t fall in jurisdiction of accountability court under NAB ordinance 2022. Petitioner prayed court has declared Nawaz Sharif proclaimed offender in this case which should be quashed besides restoring freezed assets of former Prime Minster Nawaz Sharif.
As three accused have already been acquitted in this case therefore, accountability court decision be declared null and void.
