LONDON: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that he wants to go to Pakistan soon as it is difficult to stay outside country for even a single day.

As Islamabad High Court (IHC) acquitted PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and her husband Capt (retd) Safdar in Avenfield reference case. On occasion, Nawaz Sharif in a conversation with his colleagues said that he greeted Maryam Nawaz on acquittal in this case. "Case against me and Maryam Nawaz was based on politics", Nawaz added. According to sources, Nawaz Sharif is expected to return to Pakistan soon. For this, he started consulting his colleagues.

Nawaz Sharif reacting to court verdict acquitting his daughter Maryam Nawaz in Avenfield reference said that by grace of Almighty Allah, truth is in front of whole nation. Speaking to media here Nawazsaid that he had left all his matters to Almighty Allah and he showed truth to whole nation because if a man is true and on right path, then God does not abandon him adding that God had sided with truth.

There are speculations that there has been a change of heart of powers that be towards the elder Sharif and steps are being taken to allow him to return to the country as his younger sibling Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif holds on to power. The ruling party has already speculated about his return in September, and there are rumours that his cases will also be taken care of systematically.
