Nawabshah Airport closed to geotechnical study

NAWABSHAH: Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said that Nawabshah Airport has been closed for flight operations for two months.

According to notification issued here, Airport will remain closed until May 23. Closure is due to geotechnical study that needs to be carried out at Airport, it added.

As result, only helicopters will be able to land and take off at Nawabshah Airport until May 23.

Earlier in September last year, Nawabshah Airport was closed for 15 days by CAA due to flood water.
