NAVTTC, STEVTA ink alliance for human resource development

Karachi: National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) and Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA) forged alliance for human resource development and manpower export.
Gulmina Bilal Ahmad Chairperson NAVTTC in meeting with Muawar Ali Mithani Managing Director of STEVTA discussed to strengthen partnership between two bodies to advance vocational training programmes in region.
Gulmina Bilal Ahmad also met with representatives from Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA). She emphasised, “Together, we need to explore possibilities of equipping our youth with IT skills so that we can capitalise on youth bulge and tap into global market, yielding remittances for country through human resource development.”
In meeting with President of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other chamber officials, participants discussed collaborative efforts between NAVTTC and business community to create employment opportunities and conducive environment for youth development.
Chairperson NAVTTC and President of KCCI discussed different facets of Prime Minister Youth Skill Development Programme.
President of Chamber expressed confidence and support of industry for this initiative. Plans for future collaborations were solidified as Gulmina Bilal Ahmad alongside NAVTTC representatives and industry leaders prepared to sign memorandums of understanding.
These agreements are poised to unlock new employment opportunities for youth. Gulmina remarked, “Our commitment is not just to impart skills but to create avenues where these skills become pathways to success.”
