Naval Chief Admiral Naveed confers degrees to graduates of AIDM at Convocation 2024

KARACHI:  Convocation ceremony of Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine, (AIDM) was held here. Session was chaired by Chief of Naval Staff Ad­miral Naveed Ashraf NI(M) TBt), Vice Chancellor Jin­nah Sindh Medical University Prof. Dr. Amjad Siraj Memon and President College of Physician and Surgeon Pakistan Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal (Sita­ra-e-Imtiaz and Presidential pride of performance).

Senior officials from Pakistan Navy, Registrar Jinnah Sindh Medical University and notables from medical, dental, allied health sciences fraternity and distinguished guests attended.

Admiral Naveed Ashraf congratulated students, parents and faculty on their diligence and commendable performance. He emphasised to audience that this convoca­tion marks entering of graduates into their prac­tical lives. It is time to return what they have received and deliver benefits of your knowledge to community and nation. He expected that graduates would embark upon their professional careers and re­main focus on golden rules of ethics.

Earlier Prof. Dr. Muhammed Hasnain Sakrani, Principal AIDM expressed immense pleasure and satisfaction that in short span, AIDM has grown into one of most prestigious institutes in country. He appreciated initiation of Postgraduate FCPS programmes in Dental Sciences.

Degrees were conferred by chief guest followed by an oath taking ceremony performed by Prof. Dr. Ambreen Afzal Ehsan Dean of Academics AIDM. Certificates of merit and medals were awarded to position holders. Total 355 graduates from 5 batches were conferred degrees of Bachelor of Dental Surgery.

Prof. Dr. Amjad Siraj Memon congratulated graduating students on their outstanding performance through hard work and determination. He added that young graduates must present themselves in manner that would uphold traditions of their noble profession and bring good name to their institution and country, by serving humanity to best of their abilities.
