‘Nasir Shah praises LG representatives, SSWMB for tremendous working’

Karachi: Sindh Minister Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah appreciating efforts of elected local government representatives of PPP and other parties on Eid-ul-Azha said that enthusiasm and passion of local body representatives for public service is worthy of praise and Sindh government believes in undivided support and cooperation of all elected local body representatives who have passion to serve people.

He said that Sindh Solid Waste and Management Board along with elected local body representatives made all possible efforts to provide relief to people. He said that all local bodies’ representatives should be active in their respective areas until garbage and complete cleaning and arrangements should be made to immediately remove garbage in areas. Nasir Shah said that people should register their complaints on Solid Waste Management helpline number 1128 regarding waste and sanitation, while action will be taken against concerned officers who do not address public complaints. Minister ordered to local government representatives to continue work of cleaning and removing garbage under Chairman Bilawal Bhutto’s vision of public service.

He directed media to highlight public grievances so that government can take possible steps to redress them, while media should also highlight all local government representatives regarding Eid-ul-Azha endeavours.
