KARACHI: Sindh Local Government Minister Nasir Hussain Shah said that by implementing vision of Chairman Peoples’ Party Bilawal Bhutto, government is working day and night to build and develop infrastructure of Karachi. Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and his team are working tirelessly to provide basic facilities in every sector to people, effects of which have started to be noticeable. Addressing foundation stone ceremony of 18 km long Shahrah-e-Faisal renovation project he said that to further increase beauty of road, renovation will be done on basis of modern style.

Not only positive image of city will be seen prominently in world, but also tourists from city Airport as one can enjoy beautiful scenery of city. Civic agencies have full support for renovation of 18 km long highway from Airport to metropolis. He said that process of construction and development of city is going on and government has successfully completed most of projects in short period of time while repair work of more than 400 small and big roads of city is going on rapidly.

 Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab said that all institutions are playing their role well to make city among one of developed cities. If development process continues at same pace, time is not far away when Karachi will be able to achieve prominent position. Display of banners, wall chalking will be completely prohibited on Shah-rahe-Faisal and KMC will continue its full cooperation.

DG Karachi Development Authority Syed Muhammad Ali Shah said that KDA’s expert and experienced engineers, officers and employees will fully demonstrate their skills for renovation of Shah-rahe-Faisal and will implement plan in short period of 12 months. Plantation, walkways for citizens, establishment of bus stop, street furniture, lane marking, sign age, regularisation of billboards, size and quality will be allowed both sides of highway roads from Airport to Metropole.  Project is estimated to be around Rs 195.71 million.
