Nasir Shah directs administration to renovate historical Sindh Wildlife bldg

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said on special directive of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, Sindh Wildlife Museum closed in 1994 has now been restored. On visit to historical building of Sindh Wildlife established in 1885 he was informed that water connection of historical building is disconnected due to which condition of park is in shamble and flowering and other plants have been withered.

Minister directed concerned officers to restore water connection on priority and pay special attention to park and plants inside building and ensured its beauty and greenery be reinstated. Giving directive he said that special attention should be paid to quality in renovation work. Nasir Shah appreciated steps being taken by Chief Conservator regarding Wildlife Historic Building. He said that Sindh Wildlife Building has been declared as historical asset and Sindh Wildlife Museum is also established here, so protecting historical heritage is not only duty of government but also duty of every citizen of Sindh.

Mayor Sukkur Arsalan Sheikh and Chief Conservator Wildlife Sindh Javed Mehr were accompanied besides relevant officers. Chief Conservator informed Minister that renovation and expansion work of historical building and museum is under progress. Recently Bilawal Bhutto Zardari attended inauguration ceremony of renovation.
