Film and theater actress Nargis is facing turbulent chapter in her life as new developments arise in her domestic violence case against her husband, Majid Bashir.

Nargis filed complaint alleging that Bashir physically assaulted her. As she awaits justice, Bashir, police officer, has provided his account of incident.

In an interview, Bashir admitted to slapping Nargis previously but insists that he did not hit her violently this time. He refuted claims of using gun during altercation, describing them as unfounded.

Bashir expressed his love for Nargis, calling her “Best wife one can have,” and clarified that his relationship with Maryam Ali Hussain is purely platonic, likening her to sister.

Maryam supported Bashir’s statement, calling him her brother and denying any romantic involvement.

Meanwhile, Nargis’s son, Canadian national from her previous marriage, has taken action to support his mother.

He has reached out to Canadian High Commission for assistance in her case, advocating for her protection and justice.

Additionally, Aftab Iqbal, who was previously married to Maryam, commented on their relationship. He confirmed they share children and emphasised that their bond is legitimate.
