Naqvi takes Bohra community leader into confidence as govt bolsters Muharram security

KARACHI: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that government was fulfilling all demands of provinces during Muharram-ul-Haram. He was on visit to Karachi to check security arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram.

Interior Minister visited Imam Bargah Shah Shaheedan and Burhani Palace. In Burhani Palace, he met head of Bohra community, Syedna Mufaddal Saiful Din. Minister Naqvi expressed best wishes for Syedna Mufaddal, saying that government welcome him in Pakistan. Duo also thanked each other for taking time out for meeting. During his visit to Imam Bargah Shah Shaheedan, Naqvi met Allama Aqeel Gharawi who was on brief visit to Pakistan for Muharram-ul-Haram. Meeting was also accompanied by former Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Maqbool Baqar. Allama Gharawi and Baqar expressed gratitude to Naqvi for devising better security plan for Muharram-ul-Haram and implementing it in letter and spirit.
