ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) summoned National Accountability Court (NAB) over notices to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in toshakhana case.
As per details, court announced verdict reserved over NAB notices in toshakhana case. Bushra Bibi earlier challenged NAB call-up notices in Islamabad High Court (IHC) in Toshakhana case.
Plea stated that court should declare NAB call-up notices on February 17 and March 16, illegal and inquiry should be barred from making changes in investigation till final verdict.
NAB had summoned Bushra Bibi wife of Imran Khan on March 21 in Toshakhana case. Antigraft body had summoned Imran Khan’s case on March 9. It may be noted that earlier, Bushra Bibi and other PTI leaders were summoned in Toshakhana case on March 9, but they did not show up.
Toshakhana issue became major sticking point in national politics after Election Commission of Pakistan disqualified PTI Chief for making “False statements and incorrect declaration” last month.
