NA Speaker nods 43 PTI MNAs resignations

ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly (NA) Raja Pervaiz Ashraf accepted more 43 resignations of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’ members National Assembly (MNAs). Speaker sent issue to Election Commission of Pakistan to de-seat MNAs. According to NA secretariat, PTI MNAs withdrawal of resignation has not been accepted and said that applications were not in accordance with rules. According to details PTI struggle to get seat of opposition leader, parliamentary leader and Chairman PAC ended Speaker recognized their more 43 resignations and sent to ECP. Speaker National Assembly accepted PTI MNAs resignation in four phases.

In first phase he accepted 11 resignations and in second phase 35 while in third phase he recongised 35 resignations. In fourth phase he accepted more 43 resignations. Now PTI has only 21 defector members in National Assembly.

Other than that Nasir Moosa Zai has already returned his resignation and two other members, through letter to NA Speaker are on leave. Four newly elected members including Chairman Imran Khan along with Mehmood Molvi, Nadeem Khan and Raheela has not took oath as member of National Assembly yet.
