ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf called on Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Ishaq Dar and discussed overall economic and political situation of country.

Minister said that current government had inherited economic woes adding that all possible steps would be taken to provide relief to public in coming financial budget, said press release.

Current economic team was working day and night to take country’s economy on path of development, he added. He thanked NA Speaker for his words of appreciation for current economic team.

Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that political stability was essential for economic stability adding that strength of economy was indispensable for country’s development.

Despite economic difficulties facing by current coalition government, reducing prices of petroleum products was good move, he added. He appreciated efforts of Minister and his team for economic stability.
