Murad visits UAE’s visa centre, briefed by CG

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that United Arab Emirates has established one of largest visa centres in Karachi to issue work visas and provide consular services to employees who apply for jobs in UAE.

Consul General of UAE Bakheet Ateeq Al-Remeithi on CM visit to different sections of visa centre briefed him about services. CM was told that visa Centre has been authorised to issue work visas. At this, CM said that people of Sindh and Balochistan would be facilitated at centre if they got employment opportunities in UAE. “I believe it would not be an exaggeration to say this Centre is window of employment in UAE.

UAE has opened Asia’s largest visa centre in Karachi. Visa centre one of largest in Asia will provide distinguished consular services in line with latest international standards. 11 counters have been established at centre.

CM was told that attestation facilities were being provided on daily basis at visa centre apart from providing consular services to employees who apply for jobs in UAE. “This Centre assists expats’ documents process quite smoothly and checks it thoroughly to avoid any glitch or error in documentation,” Consul General Bakheet told CM.

CM thanked UAE government for facilitating people of Sindh and Balochistan by establishing such state-of-the-art, resourceful and one-widow facility Centre in Karachi.
