Murad Saeed’s arrest warrant issued

MALAKAND: Judicial magistrate Malakand issued bailable arrest warrant for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf senior leader and former Minister Murad Saeed. Case against Murad Saeed was registered at Levies Police Station Durgai on April 28. Judicial magistrate civil 2 released bailable arrest warrant for Saeed under section 204. Earlier, Murad Saeed approached Lahore High Court (LHC) to provide details of cases registered against him, avoid arrest and obtain security. Saeed submitted application in LHC and pleaded that an order should be given to provide details of cases registered against him.
In his petition, he also requested to form team including federal and provincial governments as well as Director-General of Federal Investigation Agency and Chairman of National Accountability Bureau.
Saeed stated that federal and provincial governments are continuously filing cases against PTI leaders just for sake of political enmity.
