Murad calls on caretaker CM, raises two PPP workers' murder issue

KARACHI: Former Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah accompanied by PPP leader Saeed Ghani, called on caretaker Chief Minister Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqar at CM House and expressed serious reservations over killing of two PPP workers in Karachi.
Shah said that two PPP workers, Hussain Alhadi and Shaukat Hamad were killed one after another. He added that this had created wave of reservations and apprehensions among PPP workers.
He urged caretaker CM to order an impartial inquiry into matter and take necessary measures to protect life and liberty of people. Caretaker CM heard his predecessor sympathetically and said he had taken notice of murders and had already ordered an inquiry into matter. He assured them that proper inquiry would be conducted.
Justice (retd) Baqar said that apart from political affiliation of victims, their life was precious and valuable. Caretaker CM added that he had directed police to ensure protection of life and liberty of every citizen. Caretaker CM assured his visiting predecessor that justice would be done in case.
