Karachi: Studio23, new multibrand lifestyle store opened its doors with soft launch inaugurated by Dr Nafisa Shah, ex-MNA with support of local crafts.

Studio23’s mission is to promote local artisans and crafts to help create circular economy that benefits more people. It offers one-window retail, marketing and training service for its vendors. Store is on ground floor of building 23c on 10th Street off Khayaban-e-Mujahid in DHA phase 5.

Event was well attended by public and fashion fraternity who appreciated handcrafted product mix. Writer Zurain Imam said this is wonderful step for small businesses and circular economy as materials are being upcycled and recycled to help reduce wastage and ultimately environment.

Products are from lifestyle categories of home, jewellery, skincare and fashion. Currently, there are ten vendors with their unique creations and styles.
