KARACHI: Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Syed Amin-ul-Haque said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan would contest by-elections with full-fledged preparations and would manage to win NA seats from Karachi.

Talking to private news channel, he said that MQM political ideology was based on principles and not on personal interests. “MQM has always opposed using force against political opponents,” he added.

In response to question on whether MQM would attend All Parties Conference called by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, he replied in affirmative.

“MQM is of opinion that National Assembly should complete its constitutional term of five years and that general elections should be held after completion of that time,” he said.
