Karachi: A delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan headed by Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui met Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori at Governor House. Other members of delegation included members of coordination committee Abdul Waseem, Waseem Akhtar, Khawaja Izharul Hasan and Faisal Sabzwari.

In meeting, overall political situation of province, joint initiatives for construction and development of Karachi, consultation with all stakeholders and other matters of mutual interest were discussed. Governor said that all stakeholders want development and development of Karachi, and I am playing role of bridge between all stakeholders. Willing to follow plan. Meanwhile, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori suggested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan to stay away from party Vice President Fawad Chaudhry.

Addressing press conference after holding meeting with Muhajir Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Afaq Ahmed Governor Tessori reacted to statement of PTI VP Fawad Chaudhry. Tessori said that he will not respond to PTI VP’s statement, however, he would suggest Khan keep distance from Fawad Chaudhry. To a question, he also slammed Pakistan Peoples’ Party leader and Sindh Minister Saeed Ghani. He said that Saeed Ghani should tell himself about those who are making efforts to unite MQM factions. He added that Ghani may have more information than him. He said that MQM-P will not boycott upcoming Local Government polls and actively take part in elections. Tessori reiterated that MQM-P’s demands are valid and should be fulfilled.
