MQM-P pledges to end gas load-shedding in Karachi

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan pledged that MQM-P will end gas load shedding in Karachi after coming in power.

Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said people of Karachi have given their verdict in favour of party even before General Elections 2024. Addressing public gathering at Baghe Jinnah in connection with elections 2024, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui paid tribute to people of Karachi for coming to gathering in ‘large’ numbers and making event ‘successful’.

He said that his party had promised that people will give their verdict on January 21 even before polls on February 8, adding that promise is fulfilled. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that MQM-P is organised more than ever before.

Speaking on occasion, Senior Deputy Convener Syed Mustafa Kamal said that they would snatch powers from Chief Minister House and dissolve same at grassroot level. He said that people of Karachi always voted for party and still city belonged to ‘Kite’, MQM-P’s electoral symbol.

Dr Farooq Sattar said that hundreds of thousands of people have attended public gathering. He said that Pakistan Peoples’ Party ‘forcibly’ got its Mayor Karachi elected. “Stolen mandate will be taken back and we will elect our Mayor Karachi,” he added,
