MQM-P delegation discusses issues, political situation with caretaker PM Kakar

Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan delegation met caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar at Governor’s House. MQM-P delegation includes Farooq Sattar, Aminul Haque, Khawaja Izharul Hassan and Javed Hanif. Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori also attended meeting. Delegation members congratulated Prime Minister on assuming office and expressed good wishes for him. In meeting, they discussed country’s overall situation including economy, interfaith harmony as well as other matters.

MQM delegation drew Prime Minister’s attention towards issues of delimitation in Karachi as well as shortage of water. MQM-P leaders demanded completion of delimitation process at earliest. MQM-P leaders also urged appointment of impartial officials to Election Commission, bureaucracy and other government departments. Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar assured that government would utilise all possible resources to address issues faced by Karachi citizens.
