KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement- (MQM) leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that party wants immediate Local Government (LG) polls without delay for even a day.

Addressing presser he said Supreme Court of Pakistan has already issued a verdict in regards to delimitation of constituencies in Pakistan adding that apex court has given authority to Election Commission.

Khalid Maqbool alleged that Sindh government in contradiction with SC decision of year 2014, decided on constituencies.

He said that constituencies of Sindh formed by LG are against law and Constitution of country and alleged that Sindh government has promoted linguism in region by doing so.

MQM convener also questioned Prime Minister and President in this regard adding that what option MQM has for justice.
