MQM ignored in last 15 years: Farooq Sattar

KARACHI: Farooq Sattar said that during last 15 years of Pakistan Peoples' Party's rule, MQM was badly ignored adding that it has been difficult to unite all factions of MQM till January 15. He said that it has been crucial to dig Karachi out of deprivation for stability of Pakistan.
Farooq Sattar said that he has been ready to work under convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui but it would be difficult to unite factions. While touching on matter of PPP-MQM row, he said that ruling PPP has neglected city during last 15 years of governance and new records of corruption have been set.
Farooq said that many development works have not been done in Karachi and street crime is major cause of frustration among youth, but if this city is not removed from deprivation, country will be unstable.
He said that delimitation of constituencies is legitimate issue and that PDM should be informed about it. Dr. Farooq said that Governor Kamran Tessori has played an important role in uniting MQM factions.
