A scheduled meeting between a delegation from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif is in the works.

PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif initiated the contact, inviting the MQM-P delegation, consisting of Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Farooq Sattar, and Mustafa Kamal, for discussions in Lahore during a telephone conversation.

The agenda included the political landscape, potential collaboration, upcoming general elections, and other pertinent matters.

Moreover, there were talks about forming a robust political alliance in Sindh and potentially cooperating against the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

It's worth noting that the PML-N has declared Nawaz Sharif's return to political activities and mentioned his plans to engage in various political meetings and lead the party's election campaign after a meeting with senior party leaders at the PML-N secretariat.
